A few years back, as the UK’s EV market began to accelerate, our founder, Charlie Cook, was already at the forefront, helping deliver innovative technology to new drivers, including the UK's first energy tariffs tailored for electric car owners.
From this experience, he saw a disconnect. Businesses were the biggest buyers of EVs, but they were hitting a major roadblock; fairly and accurately reimbursing employees for charging at home. This forced them into an unnecessary reliance on public charging, which often cost ten times more and created logistical headaches.
The problem was clear. Home energy bills don't separate EV charging costs, and existing tracking solutions were often inaccurate and open to fraud.
So, Charlie and the team built the solution.
